Hi,
My wife has Necrotizing Auto Immune Myopathy currently not on any medication she last did a course of Polygam Infusions last year in June, Aug & Oct with no improvement.
She is very concerned about taking the Covid 19 Pfizer vaccine that is now available in South Africa.
Her Neurologist just replied to her question with a generic :
“Dr Frost is recommending that all patient with co-mobilities have the Covid 19 Vaccination”
I was hoping that you could give us more information if other sufferers have had the vaccine as she is already weak especially in her hip flexor muscles and is 1) Scared that the virus will attack her immune system more & 2) That she will end up weaker after the vaccine.
Please can you help?
